  4. Thanks for putting up the pics so quickly Col. Was great to have you there. Sometimes the benefit of a smaller group is that one gets to spend more time with each other. Enjoyed the evening.

Congrats once again CV, was a pleasure

    1. Thank you for all the complements, but the pleasure certainly was ours. Rightfully all the credit should go to Bhala since he shouldered a heavy burden. A real surprise to have the photos so soon with captions also in place. A late night effort by Col. on the train?

    2. Not on the train Padmanabhan. I had to do it after getting home as I was out like a light after I got onto the train, in the bargain I missed KR Puram station and had to get of Bangalore Cantt and take an auto back home. I am lucky I woke up there else I may have landed up at City Station or even Mysore!!!

  6. Thanks for the pictures. Those of us who couldn't be there can at least get a glimpse of the cake if not a piece of it :)

  7. Bhavan: and those who attended, have the double benefit of having their cake and eating it too !?

Thanks, Colonel, for letting us virtually participate in the besh, besh, bash of Rishi, by posting the pics. How do you manage your time by travelling at such short notice and being a Rip Van Winkle too?

Alas, being in a Type II City !

Congrats to the Organizers for knitting the Family together.

Not seen you on the blog since long?

    2. Hi Col., I do check in on your blog off and on (a tough habit to kick, even if I were to try!) mostly because I enjoy reading the banter. But, I have not been solving the hindu crosswords lately - at least since the iPhone app stopped working properly. Wonder if the app creators have fixed it now but found the job of printing and solving on paper a bit of an extra step that I could not get to on a regular basis.

    3. I answered my own question on the THC app - seems the version works now (and probably has for some time I would imagine as I had not checked in a long while). Hopefully I can get back into it now..
